Meredith Bearden, LEED (Owner and Lead Designer) and Zach Bearden, RLA, are the husband and wife team that make up High Ground Design. They are graduates of the University of Georgia both with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and have over 20 years combined experience in practicing Landscape Architecture in the lowcountry. They have been married for 10 years, and although they once worked together in the same commercial company, they have each shifted gears in their careers. 

Meredith took the reigns on their LA practices and founded HGD in 2012 for a happy balance of work and staying home to raise their two young sons. Zach is a true entrepreneur and his primary focus now is on Real Estate and Development.
